Corset Dress Card

When I saw this Corset Peel-Off Sticker in my sticker stash, I instantly got the idea to add a skirt to the bottom of it. It turned out so cute!
To make the dress I first peeled off a corset sticker and adhered it to silk microfine glitter paper. I burnished the sticker with my finger to make sure it was secure.
To color the corset I colored the entire middle section with Copic Marker B21. Then I added some B23 to the top and bottom of the section I colored with B21. Then I went back with B21 and blended the dark ink into the light ink by flicking the dark color into the light color. The details of the corset were colored with 110.
After coloring the corset, I fussy cut it with my scissors. To make the skirt, I flipped the corset over and applied 1/4” Scor-Tape to the bottom of the corset. Then I used some black tulle and folded it (like a paper fan) on top of the Scor-Tape.
For the background of the card, I cut some craft cardstock to 4 1/8” X 5 3/8”. To add some subtle detail, I embossed it with the Feathers Embossing Folder. The flourish was made using Australian Opal Shimmer Sheetz, a Sizzix die cut, and some pearls.
For the bottom of the card I cut three 0.75” scallop strips on the Cricut machine. I layered and staggered them, then I ruffled the scallops to give them a 3D effect.
To finish the card, I assembled all the pieces and adhered the dress with dimensional squares. Voila, an elegant card!
