I was inspired to do this project for several reasons. Firstly, I LOVED the witches leg stickers from Krazy Kreations, they were so cute! Also, I have a crafty friend named Jo, and she and I have been swapping every month going on 3 years from now. She is always inspiring and so very creative with everything she sends. Last year, for Halloween she sent my children these “card type” envelopes with a witch hat clothes pin embellishment to hold it closed. It was so adorable! Lastly, I love to give treats to the staff at my son’s house every holiday, they work so hard! I could see something like this being handed out on Halloween night to special neighbor children or those friends that you just want to say “Trick or Treat” to.
Here is how I did it. (I relied on my Scan n Cut 2 a lot this project
1. I started by attaching the Krazy Kreations stickers to the Glitter paper and colored the boots, legs and socks as well as the broom. I listed the Copic colors below. TOO CUTE!
2. Now the fun began. I thought at first I wanted to do something else with this project like a card, but the house where my son lives always loves getting treats so I decided to turn it into a trick or treat envelope/card like my friend sent last year. I then dug out some Halloween themed paper from my stash and created a treat bag with “treats” attached and card inside.
3. After I got everything colored with Copic markers, I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the images. (It made short work for the cutting) but you could fussy cut it too
4. I created the hat and ghost with my Scan n Cut and punches to also attach to the treat bags. The skirt was just some black gauze I found from last year making it look like a skirt.
I hope you enjoy my creation. I’m so inspired by seeing the creativity of others and hope that you will give it a try. Also, Thank you Jo for the idea to make the witches hat, I think it finishes off the whole project and just adds another level to the already amazing Krazy Kreations stickers and Glitter Paper. They make it so easy to create stunning projects! Thank you Krazy Kreations for helping me be the “Neatest" MOM in the house!
